Code of Conduct

The Datsun 240Z & 260Z Register of WA (Club) is a non-profit club with the objectives of promoting the preservation and restoration of Datsun Roadster, 240Z, 260Z and 280ZX cars for exhibition, touring and participation in motoring events. 

All members of the Club shall be bound by this Code of Conduct.

Members have a right to:

  • Be treated fairly, equally and with respect by the Club, its committee, and members.
  • Socialise in an environment free from all forms of harassment and discrimination.
  • Privacy and confidentiality concerning records, documentation and any other communication containing a member’s personal information, unless consent is otherwise provided.
  • Be informed and actively involved in all club events and offerings.
  • Voice their opinions, requirements, and suggestions to the committee.

Members must:

  • Treat other members, guests, staff of venues (where an event or social club function is being held) with respect and courtesy.
  • Behave responsibly and ensure they conduct themselves in a manner which will not injure the reputation of the Club, its members,  event participants, sponsors and spectators.
  • Drive in an appropriate manner that cannot be considered dangerous or antisocial at club events.
  • Pay all fees in relation to Club events, an event which that member has committed to, regardless of whether the member attends the event or not.
  • Uphold the Club Constitution, Code of Conduct and Social Media Policy.
  • Report any inappropriate behaviour of a member to the committee.
  • Notify the Club’s Membership Officer of any changes to address, contact details or changes to concessionally licensed vehicles.

Breaches of this Code of Conduct:

  • Any member not behaving in accordance with the terms of the Code of Conduct at an event may be asked to leave the event and will not be entitled to a refund of any monies paid.
  • The inappropriate behaviour of any members will be investigated and considered by the committee.  Breaches may result in a reprimand, suspension, or revocation of membership.
